cancellation and refund policy

1.      A booking for a course or experience becomes binding when payment is made or a confirmation email is sent to you by us for an event booked using a gift voucher.

2.      Anglesey Bees reserve the right to cancel a course or experience. We will do our best to contact and inform you in advance if a course or experience is cancelled. In the event that we cancel a course or experience you will receive a full refund by bank transfer.

3.      We cannot be held responsible for any financial loss or inconvenience caused by us cancelling a course or experience.

4.      If you have paid for a course or experience, or booked an event with a gift voucher you should notify us of your intention to cancel by email to dafydd@angleseybees.co.uk

5.      If you choose to cancel a booking for a course or experience and notify us of this at least 14 days before the date of the event, we will issue you with a credit note to the same value, to be used within 12 months. We do not issue refunds in cash or bank transfer. We will do our best to reschedule your event, but we cannot guarantee that we can offer you your preferred date to redeem your credit note. Alternatively, you may arrange for someone else, (perhaps a friend or family member) to attend instead of you.

6. A credit note issued in response to a cancelation made at least 14 days before an event become null and void if not used within 12 months of the date of the original event.

7. Cancellations made in part or full by you 14 days or less before an event are non-refundable and cannot be rearranged. Gift vouchers used to book events cancelled 14 days or less before the event become null and void. However, if you or individuals in your group are unable to attend, you can arrange for someone else, (perhaps a friend or family member) to attend instead of you.

8.  We reserve the right not to take guests to the apiary during a course or experience or not to open and inspect bee hives in the apiary with guests when we think weather conditions are or will be not suitable for these activities.

9. We reserve the right not to cancel a "bee curious" experience or a "beekeeper for a day" experience on the grounds of unsuitable weather conditions and to vary the activities offered, including using a hive under shelter or a glass-fronted observation hive instead of hive inspections in the apiary during an experience.

10. We reserve the right not to cancel either day of a two-day beginner’s course on the grounds of unsuitable weather. In such an event we may change the order of activities and/or inspect hives under cover instead of hive inspections in the apiary.
