Arriving at Anglesey Bees.

  • Our address is Trefnant Bach, Llanddaniel, Anglesey LL60 6ET.
  • We  are located about half a mile down an unsurfaced farm track starting by the bus shelter in Llanddaniel. If you google Anglesey Bees you will find us on google maps and get directions to us. If you put our postcode in your satnav, is will not always get you to our door. Keep going past a white cottage till you come to our property with a green gate and Trefnant Bach on left gatepost and an Anglesey Bees sign on the right. What3words for our location are: Spending.   • Our unsurfaced access track is adequate for ordinary vehicles provided that that you drive at an appropriate speed and are prepared to reverse to a passing place.
  • We do not own the access track and cannot accept responsibility for any damage to your vehicle.
  • Parking is at our own risk.Please manuoeuver and park considerately in our gravel-surfaced carpark.
  • On arrival, please stay with your vehicle and call  (07816 188573) to inform us of your arrival
  • We cannot welcome dogs. Please do not bring your dog and leave it in you car nor exercise it in our carpark.
  • We have a strict no smoking and no vaping policy. We do not permit smoking anywhere on our property including indoors, outdoors and by your vehicle in the carpark.
  • Joining instructions for courses and experiences are issued by email at the time of booking. We do not issue reminders closer to the time of events.
  • Our on-site shop does not have regular opening hours. Please check  by phone or messaging  (07816 188573) before calling to purchase honey.


Ease of access

  • Regrettably our site is not ideal for wheelchair or mobility scooter users. The use of wheelchairs and mobility scooters on our site is by prior arrangement only.
  • Our toilet facilities, on-site shop and function rooms are not accessible by wheelchair.
  • From our carpark, access to our out-buildings for our on-site shop and beekeeping courses and experiences involves a *** minute walk via a combination of concrete and gravel paths with three steps (with a handrail) and stepping stones across a grassed area.
  • Access to the training apiary during beekeeping courses and experiences involves a further *** minute walk over uneven mown grass paths.


Additional requirements

  • To participate in a beekeeping course or experience, you need to be able to put on a beekeeping suit over your usual clothing and wear a pair of boots or wellies without any assistance from us.
  • Our largest suits are size XXL, suitable for individuals with dimensions up to the following:- height 6'5"  chest/waist/hips 52" inside leg 34"
  • You are expected to walk unassisted to the training apiary with ease.
  • You are expected to cope with hot weather and remain standing in the apiary for at least 30 minutes on a beekeeping experience and at least an hour on a beekeeping course.
